About the Opportunity

Yalumba are seeking an experienced Accountant to join their professional  team in Angaston, Barossa, on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll be working within a small team to provide a range of financial and tax accounting functions to the organisation, including the production of financial reports, managing and monitoring budgets as well as project work.

Yalumba is a diversified business that will offer you exposure to primary production, manufacturing, logistics, marketing, and distribution functions.

Yalumba uses centralised, leading-edge technology such Oracle Enterprise 1 ERP, Salesforce & Sharepoint software.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing global reports including expense and balance sheet reconciliations, management reports, and financial performance reviews;
  • Producing annual financial reports and budgets;
  • Accounting for fixed assets;
  • Providing treasury services for our  international distribution businesses; and
  • Advising the organisation on business operations including financial trends, commitments, obligations, and forecasts.

The ideal candidate will be a tertiary qualified Accountant, who holds, or is working towards, a CA/CPA qualification. You’ll be experienced in financial and tax accounting, with strong commercial business acumen.  Competency using the Microsoft Office Suite of programs is considered essential to this role.
