About the Opportunity
Marradon Constructions have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator to join their dynamic team on a full-time basis. As an estimator with Marradon Constructions, you’ll be responsible for providing timely and accurate domestic and commercial project and pre-construction estimates for Marradon’s clients.
Your duties will include:
- Preparing domestic and commercial estimates;
- Evaluating tender components to provide clients with budget options;
- Setting the scope of works and administering invitations to tender and subcontractor bids;
- Providing price variations and provisional sums for active projects;
- Updating and maintaining catalogues and assemblies; and
- Assisting in the preparation and administration of subcontractor scope of works, timelines, purchase orders, and task allocations.
Marradon Constructions are seeking a qualified estimator who has experience working on commercial and high-end residential projects valued up to $4 million. You’ll have a strong understanding of building industry standards and procedures, alongside the ability to use industry relevant software programs such as Pro Contractor or View Point.
You’ll have a high attention to detail, with a commitment to providing accurate, efficient, and timely estimates for clients. Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills will ensure you're able to effectively liaise with clients, associates, colleagues, and suppliers.
Additionally, the confidence to work autonomously and with minimal supervision, alongside an organised and proactive approach to the services you provide, will be vital to your success in this role.
