About the South Eastern Private Hospital
South Eastern Private Hospital is a dynamic hospital in Noble Park focusing on oncology, palliative care, acute medical and rehabilitation. South Eastern Private Hospital is currently a 4 ward, 98 bed facility (plus chemo chairs), and building plans have commenced to add a 60 bed mental health unit.
The vision for South Eastern Private Hospital is to be the foremost post-acute facility delivering best practice inpatient and outpatient services in the south eastern Melbourne corridor.
About the Opportunities
Due to internal promotion, South Eastern Private Hospital has opportunities for Associate Nurse Unit Managers to join their hard working team.
Leading the clinical team of your ward, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of high quality, day-to-day healthcare outcomes for all patients.
Although majority of your time will be spent on regular nursing duties, you will also be responsible for:
- Liaising with other team members and key stakeholders regarding the needs of patients and the provision of services;
- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing development strategies within the practice; and
- Ensuring all staff are adhering to policies and procedures.
The successful candidates will be Registered Nurses, have a solid understanding of the duties involved in running a ward, and have great leadership skills. You must hold a registrations with the Nurses Board of Victoria and AHPRA.
Completion of a recognised Graduate Nurse Program will be highly regarded.
Demonstrated critical thinking, communication and multi-tasking skills are vital to your success in this position.
