Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service (DACMS) is seeking an experienced, Vocationally Registered General Practitioner to join their clinic at Nambucca Heads on a full-time basis.
Along with a team of General Practitioners and Allied Health professionals, you will be providing comprehensive, primary health care services to the local Aboriginal community.

About You
Durri Aboriginal Corporation Medical Service (DACMS) is seeking applications from Vocationally Registered General Practitioners who have demonstrated experience in clinical general practice. It is essential that applicants have the right to live and work in Australia, hold a tertiary qualification in Medicine with relevant post graduate qualifications, and are eligible for registration with the NSW Medical Board and APRHA.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to provide culturally sensitive care to patients will be key to your success.

The Role
You will be entering a highly supported role where a strong collaborative approach is taken by the other General Practitioners in the clinic. The clinic is staffed with a long standing team of administration, nursing and aboriginal health professionals, and supported by an extensive specialist services team, with everything from podiatrists to psychiatrists on call. In addition, you will benefit from working a 32 hour week, with no weekend or evening shifts, granting an enviable work/life balance.
Working with DACMS you will enjoy the freedom of not needing to meet minimum Medicare requirements. As a consequence you will have the flexibility to work closely with your patients and build lasting bonds, making you an invaluable member of the local community. You will be able to help patients through their health care journey from beginning to end, granting an incredible level of job satisfaction.
The Financial Benefits
You will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration package of $295,650 in addition to extensive salary packaging options which greatly increase your take home pay.
