Privately owned and operated, KF Aerospace is an industry leading Aviation Company and the largest Commercial AMO in Canada. We operate two full service MRO facilities in Kelowna, BC and Hamilton, ON with two line bases in Vancouver, BC and Toronto, ON. Our facilities support Boeing 727, 737, 757, 767, Convair 580, DC10, Dash 8, MD80, Embraer, Buffalo, Twin Otter and other aircraft.  We complete over 200 heavy maintenance checks or modifications annually for customers like WestJet, Canadian North, DND, and other key Canadian and US carriers. In addition to maintenance checks, we offer major structure and avionic modifications, cargo door installations, AC stretches and conversions. We provide fleet and customer support on location, as well as out-base coverage.  

KF Aerospace led an all Canadian Team to bid on the Canadian Forces Contracted Flying Training and Support (CFTS) contract. This included CHL, B&M and Atlantis to provide a turn-key operation for the Canadian Air Force. In 2005 KF Aerospace was awarded the 22 year, $1.8 billion dollar contract as the prime contractor.

As an Approved Training Organization, we offer a variety of type certificate courses, both internally and to a variety of customers around the world. About the Opportunity

We have exciting opportunities for Licensed AME's in Hamilton, Ontario.

We are looking for AME-Mechanical, AME-Structures and AME-Avionics at all levels, from newly licensed to highly experienced. Preference will be given to candidates with a Boeing 737 NG type certificate or experience working on Boeing 737 NG. 

Our ideal candidate has a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and is the type of individual who uses his or her highly developed organizational skills and attention to detail when taking the initiative on projects. They are able to work effectively both alone, or as part of a team, and enjoy passing on their knowledge to apprentices in need of training. Candidates also need to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have basic computer skills and a familiarity with the Internet. Being physically fit is also paramount to this role. Candidates must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment and must be able to work rotational shift work, including weekends.

About the Benefits

In exchange for the hard work and dedication, as a licensed AME, you will receive a highly competitive salary between $26.50 - $32.57 per hour (plus endorsement pay if applicable). You will also have the opportunity to work towards becoming a Senior AME and Crew Chief.
