About the Opportunity
QTACC have two exciting opportunities for Accountants (Mandarin/English Speaking) to join their teams in Nerang (Gold Coast) & Sunnybank Hills.
In this highly varied role you will be responsible for providing a wide range of taxation and business accounting services to a diverse base of individuals and businesses.
Some of your specific duties will include, but may not be limited to:
- Preparing Tax returns for individuals and businesses;
- Preparing Financial Statements;
- Preparing CGT, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns;
- Planning & estimating tax payment schedules;
- Audting trust accounts to ensure adherance to legislative requirements; and
- Assisting with setting up various business structures.
To be considered for this role you will hold a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce or a related field, and will have demonstrated experience, with over 3 years in a taxation and business services accounting position, with at least one years' experience in an Australian public practice. Additionally, due to the nature of this role and the clients you will be working with, it is essential that you be at least conversationally fluent in Mandarin.
Importantly, you will have experience with a wide range of taxation and business matters, and will be able to provide expert advice to a diverse range of individuals. Applicants with experience in supervisory or managment level positions will be looked upon favourably, however this is not essential for this position.
You will consider yourself to be a natural leader, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Your high level of organisation, and logical decision making, will allow you to maintain an effective control over your workflow and rapidly reprioritise based on incoming work.
