About the Opportunity
FM Global have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Client Processing Associate to join their team in the Melbourne office.
In this exciting entry level position, you'll be responsible for providing a quality and professional service within the Client Processing Department of FM Global. As a member of the Client Servicing Team, you’ll be integral to the team, and working closely with other team members, primarily an Account Engineer, Account Manager and /or Underwriter and a Client Processing Specialist.
More specifically, some of your day to day responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- Updating data for customer and account engineering tools;
- Formatting client value spreadsheets for compatibility within FM Global applications using Excel;
- Detailing servicing and engineering information;
- Supporting the Account Engineer as part of the client servicing team;
- Validating and reconciling client information for new and renewal locations and values;
- Entering data into assorted FM Global systems; and
- Working proactively with the client and internal information users to ensure prospect/client data integrity.
FM Global is looking for an analytical candidate with a knack for solving complex problems and advanced numeracy skills. Previous experience in insurance is not necessary, however you must have had some exposure to a corporate office environment.
You'll be an exceptional communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring that you're able to effectively work within a multidisciplinary team. Importantly, you'll be highly adaptable and organised with the ability to prioritise your workload and manage your time accordingly. Strong experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, is also a must.
While not essential, candidates with previous experience in Engineering, Accounting and/or Insurance will be highly regarded.
