Employment Office now have a fantastic opportunity for a driven, passionate and highly proactive, Recruitment Operations Manager to join our team in Milton, Brisbane, on a full time basis.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, in this diverse and satisfying role, you'll be primarily responsible for setting a clear strategy and new direction for the business, bringing insights on recruitment processes and trends and developing relationships with key internal stakeholders to drive this change throughout the organisation, with the end goal of connecting the best people to the right clients for every job, every time.
Day to day responsibilities of this role will include (but not be limited to):
This role would be well suited to someone who is currently working in an internal HR/Recruitment capacity and is tired of being viewed as merely a part of a business 'cost centre'. An expert recruiter with a keen understanding of recruitment methodology and processes you would relish the opportunity to run your own team, working across multiple clients and industries and contributing to the profitability of the organisation. With this in mind, we are looking for someone with a strong business acumen, who can confidently run their own team and P&L.
A relevant tertiary degree, as well as some marketing and/or advertising experience, particularly in relation to attraction strategies, would also be highly regarded. In addition, you will be an expert when it comes to targeted talent acquisition and advertising strategies, knowing exactly what is required to attract and assess the best possible candidates. You understand that the landscape of the recruitment industry is changing and love the idea of being able to take a leading role in driving this change, within an organization that is willing and able to take your advice!
And finally, you are a proven people manager that understands that the best leaders are those that take the time to develop and mentor their employees, actively sharing their knowledge and experience to help their teams develop into the future leaders of the business. Leading by example you won't be afraid to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with day-to-day operations when required and as such, excellent time management skills are a must. You will also, on occasion, be required to travel both domestically and internationally for training, conferences and events.
At EO you get the absolute best of both worlds - all the perks of working for a brand that's a joint venture with the Flight Centre Travel Group, and all the support and personality of a smaller company. Don't just take our word for it, though, BRW reckons Employment Office is one of Australia's Great Places to Work, ranking our organisation 27th and 25th respectively!
Our remuneration package of $90,000-$110,000 OTE enables you to control your own earning potential and increase your opportunities to earn as you grow this area of the business. You will also love EO’s world-class benefits including:
Still want more? How about being whisked away to exotic global destinations (Paris, Cancun, Las Vegas, Whistler) for our infamous global conferences? Our 2016 destination has been set and we’re off to Singapore – will you be joining us?
And we’re not just saying that because this is a job ad. Every working person on earth with accountability for the work of others know it. If you want to achieve and exceed your goals, and outperform the competition, you need to be able to firstly attract the best talent — regardless of industry. And if you need proof, Price Waterhouse Cooper's latest CEO survey shows Australian CEO's list 'availability of key skills' as one of their top four biggest threats.
However, it’s often difficult and expensive to attract that talent. If an organisation is big enough to even have a HR department, those staff may not have the skills or resources needed — such as copywriting, conducting interviews or managing dozens upon dozens of candidate applications. And if a business decides to outsource their recruitment to a traditional agency, they often wind up paying 25% of that candidate’s salary!
But what if you could solve these problems for businesses? What if you had a suite of highly customisable products to suit any size business and recruitment need? What if those products were highly effective and transparent? And what if you could deliver it at a fraction of the cost?
Welcome to Employment Office.
