About the Opportunity
Kokoda Property have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join their dedicated team in Melbourne, on a full-time basis.
As a Project Coordinator with Kokoda Property, you’ll be responsible for providing comprehensive support to Project Managers to assist in the management of complex residential projects up to the value of $20 million.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the creation of construction schedules and modifying existing schedules as required;
- Preparing and submitting applications to local council and relevant external stakeholders;
- Collating quotes from contractors and suppliers for project works;
- Assisting in compiling tender submissions; and
- Coordinating and relaying instructions from the project team to site staff and contractors as required.
Kokoda Property are seeking a candidate who has tertiary qualifications in Project Management, with experience in coordinating large-scale, residential construction projects, preferably within Melbourne and surrounds. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills will see you effectively liaising with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in order to assist in the coordination of large-scale projects.
Meticulous attention to detail, strong time management and a high level of organisational skills are a key requirement of this role. You’ll be confident in managing competing priorities, balancing your workload to ensure tight deadlines are met.
Taking a collaborative approach to your work, you’ll be an effective team player, with the ability to work autonomously as required. Your drive to constantly improve will reflect through your work, as you bring initiative and drive to the projects you coordinate. Above all, you’ll be friendly and personable, with a hunger to strive for perfection in all that you do.
Please note: A current driver’s licence is a requirement of this role.
