About the Opportunity

Due to their rapid expansion, Johnson's Truck & Coach Service has a great opportunity for a Truck Sales Representative in their Mildura dealership. 

Working in a small, supportive sales team and reporting to the Dealer Principal, this role is primarily responsible for managing sales and after-sales service to an existing portfolio of clients as well as identifying and generating new business opportunities.

Specifically, the role involves:

  • Liaising regularly with existing and prospective clients;
  • Using CRM software to manage new and existing client accounts;
  • Creating quotes and generating invoices using specialist software;
  • Scheduling new vehicle fit-ups;
  • Monitoring work carried out to ensure financial guidelines are met; and
  • Assisting in the development and scheduling of advertising relating to used trucks.

To be successful in this role, you'll be an energetic and self-motivated individual who is able to work hard to achieve set sales targets and KPIs. As this role focused on new and used truck trading stock, you must have a background in vehicle sales and extensive knowledge of trucks and other heavy vehicles. You'll also be expected to keep up-to-date with the latest product developments and current relevant legislation.

This role will manage an existing portfolio of client accounts, so an ability to quickly develop a rapport with customers is essential. Importantly, you'll use your sound negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills to manage and nurture these relationships. A personable and approachable nature is a must in this position, as you will represent Johnson's Truck & Coach Service at events from time to time.

Maintaining a safe work environment is essential in this position, so candidates should have a strong working knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety.

To complete your responsibilities, you must be accurate and have a reasonable level of computer literacy skills. Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products is essential.

A police check will be required before commencing.
