About the Opportunity

Due to ongoing expansion and growth, Opalescent has an opportunity for a Signage Project Estimator to join their team based in either their head office in Newcastle or a home-based office in Sydney (for the right applicant), on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Director, you’ll be responsible for delivering project quotes and reporting to ensure your internal team and clients understand all relevant specifications for each new project. 

Your key duties will include:

  • Providing accurate cost and drafting estimates;
  • Collecting and following up on quotes from suppliers;
  • Executing tender requests and submissions;
  • Maintaining and producing accurate project records and reports; and
  • Liaising with the team to ensure effective communication across all projects.

Opalescent is seeking a candidate who has demonstrated prior experience within a similar role, particularly within signage. You’ll have a strong understanding of market trends and pricing, with the ability to produce tenders and quotes relevant to industry standards.

Highly organised and detail oriented, you’ll work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines with ease. Exceptional communication skills will be key, as you liaise with colleagues and clients in a professional and informative manner.

Importantly, you’ll take a collaborative approach to your work, with the ability to work alongside your colleagues and manage large-scale construction and retail projects. A proud ambassador for the brand, you will represent Opalescent’s exceptional reputation in everything you do.

Please note; It is a requirement of this role that successful candidates have a current driver’s licence and a current White Card.
