About the Opportunity
Due to their continued growth, Iron Pharmacy Group now has an exciting opportunity for a full time Pharmacist to join their team at the Amaroo Amcal Pharmacy in Moree, NSW.
As the only Pharmacist on the premises, (but supported by a Pharmacy Assistant and Dispense Technician), you will be primarily responsible for the direction, administration and coordination of the activities in the Dispensary. Working closely with the Retail Manager, you will ensure the cohesive management of the Pharmacy and ensure that all policies, goals and objectives established by the Board of Directors are adhered to.
Some of your day to day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering between 80-100 scripts per day and Webster packing approx 20 per day;
- Supporting qualified pharmacist team members and supervising non-pharmacist team members in the supply and delivery of medicines and pharmacy services;
- Working closely with local medical professionals and aged care facilities, ensuring the continued growth of the business within the community; and
- Ensuring service delivery is of the highest standard and performed in accordance with company policies, procedures and culture.
The successful applicant will have current AHPRA registration, experience running FRED dispense software, and the ability to work to KPIs - achieving or exceeding budgeted sales and profits through planning, implementing and monitoring all business activities.
With superior communication skills and high levels of professionalism, you will develop positive relationships with customers and suppliers, work well under pressure and have a keen eye for detail.
This position would be well suited to newly registered Pharmacist (ie a recent graduate) and/or someone with more experience who wants to work within a small, dedicated team and add real, positive value to the local community.
