About Nuchem and Priceline
Nuchem management look after a group of Priceline Pharmacies, of which Warringah is one. All of these stores are situated within shopping centres, four in the Sydney area and five in SE Queensland. The retail manager is the top position in these stores, with all the other positions reporting to the retail manager, pharmacy staff included.
Priceline Warringah is the first "Next Generation" store Priceline have rolled out. It is the flagship store and is nationally leading the way the pharmacies are going to look going forward. This branch also has an automated robotic dispensing system and a medical centre with 8 consultation rooms on the premises.
Once the Westfield Warringah Mall has been refurbished (completion date - end 2016), it will be one of the best shopping centres in NSW!
About the Opportunity
Priceline is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pharmacy Manager to join their Warringah Mall store, on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Group's Senior Management Team, you will be responsible for the management of the pharmacy's retail team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the store, whilst maintaining an exceptional level of customer care.
More specifically, your duties will include:
- Providing leadership and direction in the development and achievement of store budget objectives in the areas of sales, margins, expenses, profits, and inventory turns;
- Managing the overall image and standards of the store, including implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures;
- Effectively managing your team including recruitment and induction of new team members; and
- General administration duties, including reporting such as; indicative stock-on-hand report, monthly store sales report and monthly shrinkage report.
To be successful in this role you will have extensive prior experience in a retail management environment and a knowledge of basic financial matters, margins, presentation of stock, and stock control. Pharmacy/chemist management experience will be viewed favourably, but is certainly not an essential criteria.
You will be an inspiring, sales driven Manager with strong communication and organisational skills, who leads from the front. If you posses the ability to genuinely inspire, encourage and motivate your team to exceed expectations in providing customers with the best service possible, you will thrive in this role.
