About the Opportunity
Due to their rapid expansion Johnson's Truck & Coach Service has a great opportunity for a Service and Warranty Advisor to be a part of growing this business.
The role is responsible for the promotion of the company and its products and service to fleet, government and retail clients, the effective control and development of workshop activities and the marketing and promotion of available services to existing and potential clients, as well as the achievement of monthly/yearly budgets both in sales & profit and assist in control of the activities of all Departmental Staff.
Day-to-day, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Assist in the productivity performance of the workshop including attaining targets set within company guidelines and maintaining KPI's;
- Assist in maintaining and exceeding budgeted service sales levels;
- Maintain steady growth and profitability of the service department;
- Ensure customer service and satisfaction is maintained;
- Maintain repair orders and invoicing daily, assist in warranty claims and processing;
- Develop, maintain and oversee a high level of contracts with existing and potential clients;
- Assist in ensuring all workshop equipment is maintained in a serviceable and safe condition; and
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
To be successful in this role, it is essential that you have the skills and experience in a similar position, and have a strong mechanical background and knowledge in the Transport Industry. Importantly, you'll be confident in giving direction where necessary and ensuring customer service standards are upheld.
Johnson's Truck and Coach Service are looking for an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is required ensuring you are able to respond to responsibilities in a timely manner.
The ability to learn and understand new software is essential in succeeding in this role, as you'll be using specialist software daily to manage all aspects of the service department.
