Ignite Travel Group is on the lookout for a Sales Team Leader to join their Gold Coast based office.

As Sales Team Leader, your primary responsibility will be to motivate and inspire your team of up to 8 Travel Sales Consultants, to achieve business goals. You'll be hands-on, leading from the front and by example, to ensure sales targets and KPIs are met.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria:

  • Will lead by example;
  • Have proven leadership experience with strong business acumen;
  • Have proven success in a achieving sales targets and KPI's;
  • Provides first class customer service;
  • Has excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to work in an innovative business environment and lead change; and
  • Have a minimum of 2 years leadership experience in Travel

Day to day your duties will include (but not be limited to) leading your team to complete the following:

  • Ensuring sales targets and KPI's are met;
  • Receiving and responding to inbound phone and email enquiries;
  • Making calls to customers who have enquired on our online enquiry system;
  • Customising travel arrangements with customers;
  • Providing a desirable option with associated costs;
  • Checking Resort and Airline availability, and booking these arrangements; and
  • Client account management
