About the Opportunity

The CMV Group has a current need for two full-time Diesel Technicians to join their growing team in Minchinbury, Sydney.

Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, your primary responsibility will be to carry out the service and repair of customers' vehicles in the most cost effective manner, taking into account time, safety and quality workmanship.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Performing maintenance tasks including inspection, servicing, repairs and overhauls;
  • Performing fault diagnosis and rectifications to vehicle systems;
  • Performing technical inspections on vehicles and assessing parts and materials required to perform repairs; and
  • Completing work details on customer quotes and service documentation.

To be considered, you must have a minimum Cert III as a Diesel/Heavy Machinery Mechanic coupled with experience in semi-trailer repairs. Additionally, you will have experience in a fleet maintenance, workshop environment.

You'll have excellent time management skills, a go-getter attitude, and will be passionate about providing excellent customer service, promoting the 'fix it right the first time' philosophy. You'll be able to conduct yourself in a professional manner in line with company expectations, and will be well presented.

A current drivers licence is a requirement of this position.
