With the organisation under new ownership, City Finance - Business Lending was established. As this new division is dedicated to business lending, they require additional expertise to lead it through its next growth phase.
About the Opportunity
City Finance - Business Lending has an opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join their friendly team in Springwood. This role is being offered on either a full-time or part-time job share basis.
Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will be responsible for developing a robust, back-end process for the new business lending division.
City Finance is an organisation run by entrepreneurs who understand small business. The organisation offers greater flexibility with security and risk assessment compared to their competitors, allowing a wider range of clients to access lending services.
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:
- Assessing inbound leads and lending applications;
- Managing the risk assessment and approval criteria; and
- Liaising directly with clients and internal stakeholders.
Ideally, you’ll have a relevant business qualification, alongside experience in business lending risk assessment, however recent business graduates are also welcome to apply. You’ll have a strong commercial acumen, with the ability to interpret P&L statements, balance sheets and understand cash flow for businesses.
In addition, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of personal lending risk assessment, as well as the confidence to work independently. Importantly, you will also have a strong attention to detail and the drive to build this new division.
As this is a customer facing role, the ability to liaise with customers and provide outstanding customer service, both on the phone and in person, will be critical to your success.
