About the Opportunity
Ellis Air now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Service Technician to join their team in Melbourne, on a full-time basis.
This position will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing air conditioning and mechanical services equipment across Melbourne.
More specifically, your daily tasks will include:
- Attending service calls based on dispatched work from a Service Coordinator;
- Carrying out preventative maintenance;
- Liaising with clients face to face, ensuring they are happy with their service;
- Completing relevant paperwork (including detailed reports) and giving recommendations for future servicing; and
- Complying with OH&S requirements.
About You
Ellis Air is looking for an experienced Service Technician with relevant skills and experience to bring to the table.
This role will focus on performing typical service responsibilities, as well as developing relationships with key clients. As such, it's important you have great interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and maintain strong relationships with these clients. You'll hold honesty and integrity as personal values, and will make sure your customers feel at ease while getting the most out of their investment in Ellis Air services.
Qualifications
In order to be successful, you'll need to hold the following:
- Cert III Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent qualification
- Disconnect Reconnect License
- ARC License
Possession of VBA Registration and a White Card will be highly regarded, however are not essential as they can be obtained subsequent to employment.
