Ausmar Group now has an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist to join their team based in Maroochydore, on a full-time basis.
This is not just any old boring reception role! Whilst you will be expected to do normal reception type duties such as answering phones, managing emails, post, filing, photocopying etc etc - more importantly you will be acting as the 'face' of Ausmar - contributing to the provision of quality customer service to clients and team members through reception and administrative support. The importance of this position can't be underestimated! As the first person our clients speak to and/or see on a daily basis you play a critical role in how we are perceived in the marketplace.
Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a reception/administrative capacity before, however this is not mandatory. What's more important is that you have previous experience in a customer facing role and a genuine desire to provide great customer service!
On occasion you will also be required to walk potential and existing clients around the showroom, so a confident communication style is also a must.

- A friendly personality and a great attitude. No one wants to be greeted by someone who looks like they just ate sour grapes, therefore a constant smile and positive attitude are a must.
- A memory like an elephant. Ausmar treats their clients like family. The person who will excel in this role will meet and speak to clients on a regular basis, remembering their names, their coffee orders, their kids favourite super heroes - anything that will add a personal touch to your interactions and make them feel like they are truly valued (which they are!).
- The ability to be organised, neat and tidy. No one likes to walk into a messy, disorganised workspace, least of all clients who are trusting you to build their future homes! It's not rocket science - if there are dirty dishes in the meeting rooms, empty brochure racks or empty water jugs - you will use your initiative to put them away or fill them up in a timely manner!
