About the Opportunity
National Glass has multiple opportunities for capable and motivated candidates to join their team in Brisbane, QLD, as Glass Processors. These roles are being offered on a full-time basis, over the following shifts:
- Day: 6am - 2pm
- Afternoon 1: 12pm - 8pm
- Afternoon 2: 2pm - 10pm
This role will see you working from the warehouse to manufacturing insulated glass units and laminated glass, cutting and processing glass using hand tools, automatic cutting machines, and glass toughening furnaces.
This role would be well suited to candidates with a manufacturing/warehousing background, and any experience operating heavy machinery would be an advantage. However, all training will be provided, including specialist training in National Glass software systems (please note, basic computer literacy will be required).
A forklift license and/or White Card would be highly regarded, however, is not mandatory to your success in this position. You will, however, need to be physically capable of lifting reasonably heavy loads.
Most importantly, you will work well within a team, with a positive attitude and a commitment to quality.
Please note: Suitable candidates will be required to complete drug testing and a medical assessment prior to hiring.
