About the Opportunity
Australis Roofing is a well-regarded metal roofing company that has recently expanded its operations to Broken Hill, NSW.
Due to an increase of work in the area, they are now looking for Trade Qualified Roofers to join their team in Broken Hill, NSW.
They are accepting applications from individuals who would like to join Australis on an employee basis and also from roofing crews to join the team on a subcontracted basis.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for metal roofing repairs, insurance repairs, private and some domestic repairs.
It's important you be someone with metal roof experience, a trade qualification, and a comprehensive understanding of industry regulations.
It is not mandatory that candidates hold a licence as you will have the opportunity to work under the Australis Roofing licence.
More specifically, you will need to have a roofing qualification and a white or blue card.
Australis Roofing is looking for competent individual roofers/crew of roofers who are safety-conscious, confident, reliable and have the ability to work autonomously.
While not essential, candidates with a working at heights ticket, elevated work ticket, and person roofers harness kit/PPE will be highly regarded.
About the Benefits
In return for your hard work and dedication, individual roofers will receive an attractive rate circa $50 per hour commensurate with experience and skill level.
Subcontracted roofing crews will be able to invoice Australis Roofing.
In addition, Australis Roofing will provide accommodation, including utilities, for candidates relocating from interstate and are open to negotiating FIFO arrangements (travel would be covered at your own expense).
