Intrax is a mid-sized, multidisciplinary engineering company that is an end-to-end supplier of engineering, surveying, and geotechnical services to the building and land development industries. About the Opportunity
Intrax now has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Surveyor to join their team based in NSW on a full-time basis. Geographically the role will cover areas such as the fringes of southern and northern Sydney, south western Sydney and Wollongong and as such would be perfectly suited to a surveyor who is wishing to relocate out of the Sydney metropolis.
Reporting to the Regional Managers, you will be primarily responsible for the preparing and delivery of projects including calculations, fieldwork and data processing.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Working as a project surveyor on varying cadastral and construction projects;
- Calculating all forms of cadastral and construction set-out;
- Working on multiple disciplines at one time and managing your own workloads; and
- Writing RFI’s and communicating effectively with architects, developers, clients and stakeholders.
To be considered for this position you will have either a Diploma or Degree in Surveying and considerable post-graduate experience in cadastral, construction and/or engineering surveying. Experience using Trimble Robotic Total Station and GNSS equipment, Magnet and AutoCAD would be beneficial for your success.
Importantly, you will be a proven project surveyor who is confident liaising and building relationships with clients and staff on site - managing expectations and clearly communicating time schedules and constraints.
A current, open Driver's License is a requirement of this position.
