About the Role
JMA Engineering now has a full-time opportunity for a Draftsperson to join their team based in Berri, SA.
In this role, your main responsibility will be to produce designs for clients based on their specifications. You will also provide modelling and drafting support for the design engineers.
More specifically, some of your key duties will include (but will not be limited to):
- Documenting services designs;
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders;
- Creating detailed and creative designs to Australian standards;
- Working within designated timeframes;
- Working within set budgets;
- Working with the sales team by providing information and ideas;
- Working collaboratively with the design team; and
- Site inspections as required.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Civil Engineering, or equivalent plus sound CAD skills. Candidates with SolidWorks experience will be held in high regard however full training will be provided for candidates who have not used this program provided.
You will also need to have an innovative approach to your work. JMA Engineering prides themselves on being a progressive, growing, and vibrant organisation. As such, you will need exceptional interpersonal skills, a team player attitude, and be willing to constantly learn and develop professionally.
This is a hands-on and varied role that will see you work on a range of projects. Good time-management skills and self-motivation will be key to you success in this role.
