Our client is a family owned market leader who is now looking for a full-time Bookkeeper to join their team in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne.

This role will see you primarily responsible for attending to the everyday financial needs of the business, managing the books and accounting functions in an accurate and efficient manner.

More specifically, some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Accounts Payable and Receivable, including data entry and reconciliation;
  • Bank reconciliation;
  • Processing of payroll and reporting requirements;
  • Ensuring P&L and balance sheet are reconciled and accurate; and
  • General administrative duties as required.

Our client is seeking an energetic Bookkeeper who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment. You'll be organised and well versed in managing competing priorities; essentially, you're a pro when it comes to multitasking. A keen eye for detail and the ability to get things done quickly, while always ensuring quality, will set you up for success.

A background in accounting would be a bonus, however is not essential if you have demonstrated experience as a Bookkeeper and are confident in your knowledge and skill set.

It's crucial you be competent in the use of computer systems, and able to pick up new programs/software easily (training will be provided). Previous experience using Xero will be highly beneficial.
