About Us
The Aboriginal Health Council of Western Australia (AHCWA) is the peak body for the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) in WA, representing 23 ACCHS and supporting them to provide culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary healthcare services to Aboriginal communities. Our sector is committed to delivering holistic, patient-centred care to improve health outcomes for Aboriginal people. We are looking for healthcare professionals committed to advancing community health and who are inspired by cultural richness and community-focused care to work in ACCHS, which are located in different regional, rural and remote locations across WA.

Key Requirements
- Current professional registration or eligibility to register with AHPRA as a nurse, midwife, or allied health practitioner.
- A commitment to working in regional, rural, or remote areas of Australia, bringing your skills and compassion to communities where your work will have a tangible impact.
- Willingness to participate in cultural safety training and orientation to support effective, respectful care within Aboriginal communities.
