LUBRICATION TECHNICIAN – SHIPLOADING/UNLOADING
Gladstone Ports Corporation (GPC) plays a critical role in Queensland’s supply chain, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of Australia’s premier multi-commodity port. We’re currently seeking motivated and safety-conscious Lubrication Technicians to join our Asset Management team for a 12-month temporary placement, supporting Shiploading and Unloading operations.

About the Role
As a Lubrication Technician, you’ll play a key role in maintaining GPC’s fixed plant equipment by:
- Conducting routine lubrication services, inspections, and preventative maintenance
- Supporting plant reliability, safety and cost efficiency
- Identifying lubrication issues and assisting in troubleshooting activities
- Maintaining records and using computer-based maintenance systems
- Working proactively with Supervisors, Coordinators, and other Maintenance personnel to achieve operational goals
- Upholding GPC’s safety and environmental standards
About You
We're looking for individuals with:
- Experience in routine lubrication of fixed plant equipment
- Strong commitment to safety, environmental protection, and workplace compliance
- The ability to prioritise tasks, follow maintenance plans, and work independently or as part of a team
- Sound judgement and communication skills, with a proactive and respectful attitude
- A values-driven mindset aligned with GPC’s commitment to integrity, care, and innovation
Qualifications & Requirements
Mandatory:
- C Class Manual Driver’s Licence
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC)
Desirable (or willingness to obtain within 12 months):
- Dogman, Basic Rigger, Scaffolder, EWP, Forklift, MR Licence, Gantry Crane, Confined Space tickets
