About the role

Wintringham’s Angus Martin site is seeking a medication endorsed Personal Care Assistant to join our team. Bring your passion for well-being to our close-knit community, fostering a warm and supportive environment for our residents. Reporting to the Residential Site manager, responsibilities include the below:

  • Assist residents with personal care, including personal hygiene, dressing, grooming and other activities of daily living
  • Undertake medication management and treatment procedures
  • Continence management, bathing and washing residents, grooming and shaving
  • Provide social and emotional support to residents (person centred holistic care) 
  • Resident Social Activities: Assist residents to take part in social activities like recreational activities 
  • Assist residents to access services they require 

What are we looking for?

  • Completion of medication administration unit (HLTHPS006 - Assist Clients with Medication)
  • First Aid Certificate – CPR 
  • Food Safety – Level 1 as required 
  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) 
  • Knowledge and understanding of the special needs of older people 
  • The ability to enhance or maintain our residents’ independence and lifestyle
  • A friendly and non-judgmental attitude

What we offer

Employment type: Casual Role

Pay: $36.92 - $43.88 /hour (depending on your quals & experience) plus 25% casual loading plus super. Above Award pay and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits of up to $18,500 each year.

Location: Angus Martin - Frankston (VIC)
