The Opportunity:

Are you ready to play a pivotal role in implementing procurement strategies and fostering collaboration across the APAC region?

We're seeking a self-driven Procurement Business Partner to act as a liaison between central Group procurement, local procurement teams, and APAC leadership. Reporting to the APAC Finance Director, in this key role you’ll spearhead procurement initiatives, ensure reporting and process alignment, and oversee the procurement requirements of strategic projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Partner with local teams to establish unified procurement practices across all plants.
• Align procurement processes with immediate stakeholders, including supply chain management, production, finance, and central procurement.
• Partner with central procurement to plan and execute savings initiatives across various categories.
• Align reporting and processes for strategic projects with global frameworks.
• Provide commodity insights and market analysis to local procurement teams.
• Evaluate and manage supply chain risks, driving de-risking projects for the region.
• Collaborate with finance teams to analyse and set budget prices for the fiscal year.
• Represent procurement interests within APAC operations teams.
• Facilitate communication between central procurement category managers and local sites.
• Ensure procurement savings are reflected in local P&L statements.

About You:

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who can thrive in fast-paced environments and effectively navigate complex procurement landscapes.

Your skills and experience will include:

• 3 years'+ experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.

• Commercially minded with a strong financial acumen.
• Superior analytical and reporting skills.
• Sound understanding of financial systems (Microsoft GP, DC 365, SAP will be advantageous)
• Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced skills in Excel.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on timely analysis.
• Knowledge and understanding of contemporary and best practice procurement methodologies.
• Ability to communicate with influence and clarity.
• High integrity and commitment to quality.
• Ability to successfully navigate situations of pressure and tight deadlines.
• Flexibility and adaptability to evolving business needs.
