Bush Heritage Australia are seeking an Accounts Officer to join the Corporate Services team.

About the role

The Accounts Officer is responsible for providing accounting support to people throughout the organisation.  Specific functions include accounts receivable and payable, payroll administration, credit card and general administrative support to staff, as directed by the Head of Finance.  The role is a part-time, job share position.

What you'll need to succeed  

  • Demonstrated experience in the administration of payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable for a medium business (around 70+ employees), including electronic payment processing and credit card management.
  • Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Dynamics finance system and administering payroll through an online system.
  • Demonstrated computer competency in word processing, spreadsheets, data bases, email.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate with people from a broad range of backgrounds.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills.
  • Willingness to learn, initiative, and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
