We have two (2) opportunities for permanent part-time Room Attendants to join our Oval Hotel Rooms Division team.

You'll play an important role in servicing our rooms to a luxury standard and be charged with making our rooms feel like a home away from home. You'll also be responsible for restocking and replenishing bath care products, mini bar items and changing out all of the linen requirements. Not only will you deliver exceptional rooms, you'll also be essential in helping guests throughout their stay should they have any questions or need assistance. 

What you'll be doing

  • Servicing rooms to meet our hotel standards.
  • Changing bed linen and making beds within agreed timeframes.
  • Dusting furniture and checking general order of our rooms.
  • Cleaning bathrooms and replacing used towels.
  • Replenish toiletries, beverages and food items in the rooms.
  • General cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping floors, removing rubbish, and keeping internal and external areas pristine.
  • Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs in a timely manner.
  • Address guests’ queries (e.g. on additional services) and help guests retrieve lost items.

Your skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role (within a hotel environment desirable).
  • Good physical health, with stamina to meet physical demands of position.
  • Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products.
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills including the capacity to build meaningful team relationships.
  • Ability to maintain high workloads and meet tight deadlines, with exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaborating within a team environment.

Please note that out of hours work including nights, weekends and public holidays are a requirement of this role.
