The Opportunity:

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join the team based at our Chullora head-office initially on a 6-month contract, with possibility for extension.

 

In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient processing of accounts receivable functions and customer payments, while providing exceptional internal and external customer service.

This contract role offers a chance to bring your expertise and get exposure to a leading bakery manufacturing business and develop valuable experience within a dynamic environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately post and allocate all cash receipts using the ERP (Great Plains).
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding payments from customers.
  • Prepare and send customer billing statements weekly.
  • Perform daily transactions, reconciliations, and accounts receivable data processing.
  • Maintain daily bank reconciliations and allocate transactions in Cash Analytics.
  • Regularly review and reconcile accounts receivable ledgers.
  • Monitor ageing reports and support cash flow management.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and setups.
  • Process credits, adjustments, and manual invoices including intercompany recharges.
  • Update and maintain Accounts Receivable Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provide month-end intercompany invoicing support.
  • Assist with internal reporting requirements, including audits and tax schedules.

 

About You:

We are looking for a proactive Accounts Receivable professional who is customer-focused, adaptable and has a commitment to accountability.

 

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Solid experience in accounts receivable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and reliability.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced), Outlook, and Word.
  • Experience using ERP systems, preferably Great Plains.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively across all levels of the business.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach with a willingness to support broader finance activities when required.
  • Previous experience in FMCG or manufacturing industry with a global company will be a strong advantage.
