Autism SA is a leading provider of services to individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Australia and is seeking to employ ASD Facilitators as a part of the Specialised Support Services department.

This position is required to work within a multi-disciplinary framework to provide direct support to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a variety of environments.

Specifically, the role is responsible and accountable for providing strategic interventions in consultation with ASD Consultants and Allied Health Professionals.

The Facilitator is also responsible to:

• Develop of goals for individuals for the allocated support timeframe
• Liaise and work alongside other Autism SA staff
• Meet targeted support hours and maintain accurate statistical data
• Provide written reports including achievement of goals and recommendations
• Maintain accurate client records and client progress notes
• Provide ASD Facilitator services in Greater Adelaide and Outreach regions as required
   

Essential:

• Practical Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Evidence of ongoing Professional Development in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorder

Desirable:

• Experience working in a multi-disciplinary team

These full time positions will be based in Netley, providing services to metropolitan regions within Adelaide. 

These positions are 12 month fixed term contracts with the possibility of extension.
