Autism SA is a leading provider of services to individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Australia and is seeking to employ an Autism Spectrum Key Worker.
This role is responsible and accountable to:
- Contribute to the coordination of the provision of services provided by Autism SA
- Apply clinical experience and professional competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services appropriate to the needs of the clients and their families/carers
- Apply clinical experience and professional competence to deliver services for individuals and their families that reflect current international recommendations for best practice
- Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team, which may include service providers from other sectors
- Independently apply professional knowledge and judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks specific to the discipline
Essential:
- in the provision of case management and case coordination of services
- in the delivery of services to individuals and/or their families
- working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team
Desirable:
- in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorder
- in counselling
This position is a fixed term contract until 30th June 2017 with the possibility of extension.
The position will initially be based in Netley providing services to metropolitan regions within Adelaide. Greater Adelaide and Outreach travel maybe required as a part of the role.
