Autism SA is a leading provider of services to individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Australia and is seeking to employ a Foundation Skills Group Coordinator as a part of the Clinical Support Services department.
The Foundation Skills Group Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of a specialised group program utilising a trans-disciplinary approach. This includes:
- Leading the daily running of the trans-disciplinary group and providing guidance and support to staff members within the team,
- Applying professional experience and competence to plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of services appropriate to the needs of the clients,
- Providing service management, high quality advice and consultative support to families and educational staff to facilitate inclusion in the educational sector and other early childhood settings,
- Participating in a clinical capacity to ensure the achievement of organisational goals in relation to staff development and service delivery.
The position is contracted until 30 June 2018 with the possibility of extension.
The anticipated start date for the position is early January 2017.
The position will be based at Salisbury East.
