Aveo Live Well, Australia’s leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking a part time Village Attendant at Aveo Ackland Park.
About the role:
The Village Attendant will be required to assist the Village Manager to ensure the smooth running of the Village while meeting the satisfaction of the residents.
You will be responsible for organising village activities in conjunction with the Village Manager and resident committee. You will also be required to liaise with various external providers and catering services to plan a full social calendar for residents.
You will ensure resident’s safety, security, dignity, privacy and well being at all times, actively contribute to the promotion of best practice in OH &S and continuous quality improvement, and promote the culture and philosophies of Aveo Live Well.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate

Police Check clearance

Experience working in aged care

Well developed interpersonal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to work alone and as part of a team

Demonstrated ability to work within OH&S and a continuous improvement environment

Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to work within a multi-tasking, multi-skilled work environment

Reliable, flexible approach to rostering
