Aveo Live Well, Australia’s leading retirement village owner/operator is seeking a casual Registered Nurse at our Aveo Durack village.

About the role:

The Registered Nurse will report to the Clinical Services Manager, and be responsible for supervising  and monitoring the standard of care delivered to the residents, ensuring that the care is individualised to each resident’s needs.  You will assess residents care needs on an on-going basis and update documentation as per protocol.

You will be responsible for ensuring maintenance of all necessary Medical Records including accurate, concise, and precise daily and critical reports that will contribute to effective communication and support ACFI claims.

You will ensure resident’s safety, security, dignity, privacy and well being at all times, actively contribute to the promotion of best practice in OH &S and continuous quality improvement, and promote the culture and philosophies of Aveo Live Well.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Registration with AHPRA

  • Police Check clearance

  • Experience working in aged care

  • Well developed interpersonal communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to work alone

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

  • Demonstrated ability to work within OH&S and a continuous improvement environment

  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise

  • Good oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work within a multi-tasking, multi-skilled work environment

  • Reliable, flexible approach to rostering

  • Trustworthy, pleasant and outgoing demeanour
