Human Resources Officer
Overview: Exciting opportunity to grow and develop in your Human Resources career journey
Wage: Up to $71,961 pa plus super and locality allowance - commencing salary will be commensurate with skills and experience
Hours of Work: The position is full-time and Council employees work 72.5 hours a fortnight with the option of spreading the hours to work a 9 day fortnight. We may also consider part-time and job sharing arrangements.
Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly
Leave: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum.

As the successful applicant for this position you will be involved in a range of generalist Human Resources (HR) functions and administrative activities. The position works with staff and teams at all levels to ensure that Council’s HR policies, procedures and practices are implemented in line with our organisational values and Code of Conduct. With your growing skills you will provide advice, as well as coach and guide others on a range of employment related matters. You will also work closely with the Executive Support Coordinator to provide administrative support if required to the Executive team.

Classification and pay level are commensurate with knowledge and experience.
