About the Role:
Are you a pro at manoeuvring a Skidsteer with precision and flair? If turning rugged terrain into smooth, level surfaces sounds like your kind of challenge, then we've got the perfect role for you at Barcaldine Regional Council!
We are looking for a skilled Skidsteer Operator to join the works team in Alpha!

Location: This position is based in Alpha with Regional work and travel as required.
Classification Level: Level 5 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream B) Award – State 2017 and the Barcaldine Regional Council Certified Agreement 2022.
Wage: Minimum base salary of $68,090.88 per annum + Superannuation (up to 12%) and relevant approved allowances.
Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly.
Hours of work: 76 hours over 9 days with a rostered day off (RDO) every fortnight.
Leave: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum.

What You'll Need:
- Minimum QLD Class 'MR' Drivers Licence;
- Current Construction Card (White/Blue Card);
- Minimum two (2) years experience operating Skidsteers;
- Traffic Controller Licence (desirable);
- Traffic Management Implementation Qualification (desirable);
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
