The Opportunity:
Are you a results-driven leader with a passion for community impact and operational excellence?
We're seeking a dedicated and strategic District Manager to oversee our Alpha/Jericho region, driving key objectives and fostering meaningful community relationships.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead in a dynamic and diverse region, empowering you to make a meaningful impact through innovative solutions and lasting community partnerships.
This role is a contract position for a 6-month period.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee administration and facilities operations across Alpha and Jericho, ensuring high quality service delivery, adherence to budgets, and alignment with organisational goals.
- Lead and mentor a dynamic team, promoting a collaborative culture that values diversity, efficiency, and excellence.
- Manage financial and facilities resources effectively, focusing on operational efficiency and sustainable practices.
- Develop and maintain strong community relationships, engaging with key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
- Spearhead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
Role Details:
Location: This position is based in Alpha with regional work and travel as required.
Wage: To be discussed with successful applicant.
Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly.
Hours of work: 76 hours over 10 days.
Leave: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum.

What We're Looking For:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related field, or extensive experience in a senior leadership role focused on community outcomes.
- Proven capability to lead and manage multi-functional teams, effectively balancing competing priorities to achieve desired outcomes.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in financial management and facilities management principles.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to solve problems and manage time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach and a commitment to team engagement.
- Proficiency in creating comprehensive documentation, including policies and reports that align with strategic objectives and foster continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated project management skills (desired).
