Customer Service Manager (BOQ)

The Opportunity 

• Manage and provide administrative support to the Aramac Rural Transaction Centre  
• Minimum base salary of $77,877.80 per annum + up to 12% Superannuation contribution

We are looking for an individual to join our BOQ team in Aramac as a Customer Service Manager. This role will be responsible for the daily operations of the bank and ensure all front-line Customer Service is met in a professional and friendly manner.

We are seeking a self-driven individual with excellent communication skills who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment. This individual should be adept at problem-solving and be ready to hit the ground running.

 What's on Offer:

Location: This position is based in Aramac with Regional work and travel as required.

Classification Level: Minimum level 4.1 of the Queensland Local Government Industry (Stream A) Award - State 2017 and the Barcaldine Regional Council Certified Agreement 2022.

Wage: Minimum base salary of $77,877.80 per annum + up to 12% Superannuation contribution.

Payment of Wages: Council employees are paid fortnightly.

Hours of work: 72.5 hours over 9 days with a rostered day off (RDO) every fortnight.

Leave: Five (5) weeks annual leave per annum + 17.5% loading. Fifteen (15) days Personal Leave (sick leave) per annum.

Successful Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum Year 12 Certificate or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role;
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills appropriate to the requirements of the position;
• Strong computer skills with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technology;
• Current Queensland class 'C' Driver Licence;
• Relevant formal qualifications in an appropriate field are highly regarded;
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience desirable, but not mandatory;
• Understanding of Code of Banking Practice and other Financial Sector compliance data as well as a knowledge of Bank of Queensland products and services desirable, but not mandatory.
