About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Customer Service and Administration Officer. You will support the functions within the Environmental Planning and Building Services Department of Council to deliver high-quality services to the community.

Position Summary

 

Provide quality customer service to the public while projecting a positive image of Council and the Department by way of polite, effective and efficient communications both within and external to Council.

 

Provide administrative assistance and support to the functions of the Environmental, Planning and Building Services Department of Council.

Essential Criteria

 

  • Proficiency in the operation of various computer packages including a well-developed understanding of Microsoft office programs, Adobe and internet and intranet-based data administration applications and records management systems.
  • Strong customer service, excellent communication skills, and experience in administration, records management, and maintaining databases and registers.
  • Current Drivers licence.

Salary: $1,190.10 to $1,250.24 per week + 12% superannuation

Position Status: Permanent – Full-time

Hours of work: 35 hours per week with an RDO every third week
