  • Band 7 role ($98,624 - $110,360 + Super) dependant on experience.

About the Role

This new role at Council is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to oversee Council’s Planning Compliance team.

You will be able to provide leadership and delivery of a proactive and responsive Planning Compliance Unit to enhance the amenity and safety of our community by ensuring that the use and development of land is in accordance with the Baw Baw Planning Scheme and Planning Environment Act 1987.

You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Baw Baw’s Planning Units and Community Safety Department to achieve sustainable outcomes for the Baw Baw community.

About the Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have, along with relevant qualifications and/or proven experience, demonstrated experience in developing and guiding a strong, cohesive team, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

You will also be able to educate and advise our community, including developers and business owners, to achieve an increased level of compliance with the Baw Baw Planning Scheme and all relevant planning controls across the municipality.
