About the Role
The successful candidate will work together with both Council and Community stakeholders to deliver quality environmental outcomes. This role will involve some out of hours Community engagement. You will assist in implementing Council’s weed control programs by supervising contractors and our own field team. You will assist in the education of local community to undertake a coordinated weed control program. Assisting schools develop and deliver environmental programs will also deliver multiple quality environmental outcomes within the Shire.
About the Successful Candidate
The successful candidate should be an enthusiastic and committed environmental advocate. You should be experienced in the management of high value diverse landscapes through your own experiences and with previous contractor management of sites. You will display our cultural commitments of being respectful, optimistic, authentic, pragmatic and supportive. Experience in the processes of Local Government would be beneficial.
