About the Role

This role will assist Council to provide well-presented public amenities throughout the Shire. Providing maintenance and cleansing activities to Council’s public toilets and BBQ facilities, the role offers the right candidate autonomy in their daily work whilst still being a part of a high performing team. The right candidate will also enjoy access to opportunities for further growth and development with Council.
Please note: this role is subject to weekend work requirements, paid per overtime allowances, and the successful applicant will require or be able to obtain a Working with Children’s Check.

 

About the Successful Candidate

A self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude that is capable of being a team player, you will perform public amenity and cleansing activities throughout the Shire and play a pivotal role toward the customer experience of Council. 
You may have previous experience in cleansing activities; however, this is not essential. Previous experience working under approved OHS frameworks in an operational capacity will also be advantageous. 
You will also have a current Victorian Drivers Licence with a current Working with Children’s Check, or the ability to obtain one.
