  • Full time permanent position with monthly RDO. Band 7 salary: $103,212 to $115,494 plus superannuation.
  • Manage the fleet of 300+ plant and vehicles across Council’s business.

You will play a key role in ensuring the continuity of the many Council services which rely on sound fleet management practices.

About the Role

The Coordinator Fleet and Urban Maintenance provides supportive leadership to a team of 16 professionals looking after the maintenance of Council’s fleet assets and urban infrastructure such as signage, street furniture, sealed footpaths, stormwater drainage and public amenities. In addition, the role is responsible for the procurement and disposal of Council’s fleet of motor vehicles, plant and equipment, with a focus on business improvement to ensure an efficient and cost-effective service is provided to the organisation and community.  

 

About the Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the supervision of staff, material, fleet and financial resources, with relevant qualifications in management, finance, business, engineering or project management. They will have strong communication skills with experience supporting team members and teams to guarantee the achievement of individual and/or team goals. They will also have experience in planning, organising, costing works and reporting and have a continuous improvement mindset.
