About the Role
As a Casual Usher & Front of House, you are responsible for actively contribute to the experience patrons visiting the West Gippsland Arts Centre by providing a high standard of customer service, presentation of the venue and provision of food and beverage services as required.
Hours of work vary, as a large proportion of concerts and events are at night and on weekends.
When working as an Usher you are expected to deliver outstanding service to visitors whilst ensuring the operational effectiveness of your area.
About the Successful Candidate
Your skills and experience:
- Demonstrated ability to provide welcoming, friendly, focussed and flexible customer service.
- Demonstrated experience in a customer service role, preferably in the performing arts, events or hospitality industries.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Availability to work rostered shifts Monday – Sunday between various hours.
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA), or willingness to obtain one.
