Baw Baw Shire Council is seeking an Administrative Support Officer to join our close knit Community Compliance team. In this role you will deliver exceptional customer service, provide administrative support, and assist with various workplace projects in line with our values and behaviours.

About the Role

As the Administrative Support Officer - Compliance you will support the team with a diverse range of enquiries and tasks, including:

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Issuing permits
  • Answering customer queries
  • Maintaining general business records such as meeting agendas and minutes 
  • Process Improvement 
  • Administrative duties, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy

This role is both challenging and rewarding, with no two days the same!

 

About the Successful Candidate 

To be successful in this role you will have a Certificate III in Business (Administration) or experience in a similar position. 

Experience in Local Government in an administrative field with Local Laws, Town Planning, Building or Health would be advantageous.
