•    Band 5: $75,968 to $87,500 per annum plus 11.5% super. 
•    Permanent, full-time position with monthly RDO based at our Drouin Council office.

As a Community Compliance Officer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of the Shire’s Community Compliance programs by ensuring community compliance with the Shire’s Local Laws, and relevant State Government Acts and Regulations.
You will protect the municipal amenity and encourage a safe and harmonious environment for the community and visitors

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Community Compliance team.  In this dynamic role, you’ll be responsible for delivering a range of services related to animal management and safeguarding the municipal amenity, ensuring compliance with the Shire’s Local Law and other relevant legislation.

About the Successful Candidate

To succeed in this role, you’ll have experience in a similar local government position and hold a Certificate IV in Statutory Compliance (Government) or Animal Control and Regulation—or be able to obtain one within 12 months. Your ability to stay calm and objective in complex situations will be key to your success.
A current Victorian driver’s licence is essential.
