About the Role

The Coordinator Civil Asset Planning is responsible and accountable for the strategic planning of built infrastructure and the future infrastructure needs of the community and ensuring that all infrastructure is built according to the agreed standards.

This role will coordinate the development of strategic plans and policies to ensure the necessary authorising environments to identify clear, consistent, and transparent infrastructure priorities for the future provision and delivery of infrastructure within the Shire.

The role is also directly responsible for overseeing the team to undertake drainage investigations, traffic and parking investigations and road investigations in preparation to assist the Program Delivery team in the delivery and development of Council’s capital works program.

The role is also responsible for overseeing the asset protection of Councils assets.
