About the Role
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you’ll play a key role in delivering financial insights that drive smart, data-informed decisions across the organisation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you’ll lead initiatives that improve financial processes, support strategic planning, and strengthen Council’s long-term financial sustainability.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking finance team that values innovation, continuous improvement, and practical problem-solving. From designing performance metrics and dashboards to leading financial modelling and process optimisation, your work will directly influence how resources are allocated and services are delivered. About the Successful Candidate
To thrive in this role, you will be CA or CPA qualified. You will bring a strong foundation in financial and management accounting, with deep expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and a sharp focus on long-term financial sustainability. You’re someone who can not only understand the numbers but use them to drive smarter decisions and continuous improvement. Your experience in leading process optimisation and leveraging financial systems to boost efficiency will be key to your success.
You’re a natural communicator who can translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Your ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation sets you apart. In a fast-paced and evolving environment, your strong organisational skills, strategic mindset, and ability to juggle competing priorities will help you deliver results that matter.
